If you subscribe to World Magazine, be sure to check out the November 17, 2007 issue, which features a full-page ad from Crossway just opposite the table of contents. It features John Piper's new book The Future of Justification, as well an anthology he co-edited with Justin Taylor (The Supremacy of Christ in a Postmodern World) and another to which he contributed a foreword (Pierced for our Transgressions). Right beside them -- first on the list in the ad copy, in fact -- is my own book Rethinking Worldview.
I knew the ad was coming, so when I started getting e-mails from World readers, I was prepared. When I actually saw the piece, though, I experienced something similar to the feeling I had when I first saw myself in the Crossway catalog, side-by-side with authors who've done so much to further my own formation. "Humbled" doesn't begin to cover it. Let's just say I'm deeply grateful to be included in such august company, knowing full well I don't deserve it!
